It looks good but our bits will wait for the April auction.
We then went on to the Bowes Museum in Barnard Castle where we parked and set off for a walk to Egglestone Abbey along the River Tees.

Those vault arches are wondrous, I am a bit claustrophobic so the weight and beauty of them really gets to me
What amazing and beautiful history you're surrounded by. Here in the U.S. we don't have the antiquities to root us down. I think this is why people here often talk about where their ancestors haled from when describing who they are.
